The Last Hope

by

Uzma Sadaf

Where are you
I have become overtired in your search
Even the last hope seems to be asleep
You were never so indifferent
That my hear may rend to pieces
And you may not be knowing about it
Where are you and where is that face of yours
The most innocent, the most chaste
Where should I find that one
All the faces seem to be so tired, so sleepy
That there seems to be no life in them
Where is that face of yours
Which I have been searching all the time.
