Is it the Mind or a Gushing Spring

by

Uzma Sadaf

Where are you
You are in every layer of my spirit
Is it the mind or the gushing spring
It goes on moving and irrigates so many valleys
Have you ever thought over that
All the flowers of the land, all the leaves
All the lushing crops, all the winding streams
All these bending boughs
This the sun and the moor
All these bright pictures of life
Are for the gushing spring of mind
These roses and all other beautiful flowers
Are a heritage of truth
This fragrance of the queen of the night
This is all for the gushing spring of mind
This light, these colours, this life
Is all for this.
Some times it is so cool and crystle
That the mirrors cannot stay before it
Sometimes, no doubt, it is proud of itself
For its vastness that it provides waters to the seas
This glow worm, this moor and the morning star
This mind of man, the every gushing spring.
