I Shall Sip All My Tears
by
Uzma Sadaf
Let us promise from today
That we shall keep ourselves hidden
From the eyes of all the people
Ourselves and all our writings
I shall sip all the tears
Shall blow out all the lamps
I shall never bring myself to light
Will never speak a word
I shall be silent from today
I shall imprison my eyes
I shall chain my feet
I shall over turn my journeys
I shall imprison myself from today!
A New ! Wound by Uzma Sadaf
I know that time never goes with any body
Time disgraces a man
But whenever it calls me, I respond to it
Forgetting every thing
Taking a new wound with me
I come back
There is admiration on my tongue
But have you ever peeped into time’s eyes
A darkish colour glimmers in them
As it is in the eyes of a snake before it bites
All my body has become poisonous
My eyes have become blue
Memories sting me all the nights
But whenever time calls me
I go to it, forgetting every thing!
