All Decisions Are Made on a Tea Cup
by
Uzma Sadaf
My hear makes all decisions on a tea cup
The smoke rises, the heart burns
And some dreams are visible beyond the smoke.
Then these dreams come nearer
And made the heart full of glee
And sweet pain is felt and the smoke
Begins to scratch the invisible wounds of the heart
The wounds begin to bleed and a sigh comes
The hands begin to grapple the pen
The bend before the pen respectfully
And ask permission to write a poem
The heart makes decisions of its pains
The soul begins to count the grief
And makes calculations of sufferings
So how can you say
That the decisions are not made on the cup of tea.
