My emotions are hitting’ hard like thunder.
My knocks are coming down hard like rain at your door.
My tears are dropping to the concrete like drizzle into a puddle,
Because I’m afraid you don’t love me anymore.
My cries are like a new born baby at birth.
My expressions are as loud as their screams.
My heart has been split like an umbilical cord,
Because I just figured that your love wasn’t like it seemed.
My complaints are like a dogs’ whimpers when he’s waiting to be fed.
My knees are shaking like their tails wag when they plead.
I’m all burnt out like a dog whose just came in after a walk,
Because I’ve been looking around only to realize you’re the one I need.
