Can you hear their cries
The melochanoly voices
The fire in their eyes

The babbling of a brook
Is so much more
It tells the story of its sorrow
Like their pitiful voices
The ones we ignore

The scream of the wind
Demanding attention
As it thrashes the trees
As it finds its way
Into the deepest parts of our hearts
With secrets that sting
And tear us apart

Nothing lasts forever
The rain will never let us forget
The clouds shall always overcome
And some dreams are never met

The day is short
The night is dark
Our time is running out

Their hearts are breaking
Their screams are rising
And we begin to see

The brook is pure
The wind is strong
The rain is sheer

No longer can we turn our heads
Their cries are sincere
Let us gather our forces
Forget our fear
And heal the hearts
That bleed in here
