I Look to the Sky

By

Scott R. Jones

I look to the sky and I wonder why

Why did they get sick?

Oh, Why did they die?

God only knows the reason why

As the teardrops fell, we said goodbye

We searched for answers, that couldn’t be found

And cry some more, as we stared at the ground

The sands slipped fast through these waters of life

As the mornings light shined upon our strife

But the Spirit of God showed us the way

As He helped us prepare for a brand new day

These men of character, were men of peace

They were our Dads, whose love well keep

For in our hearts, they’ll never part

As they rest in peace, in Gods Loving Heart
