Home of the Free

By

Scott R. Jones

This land, this place, this home of the free
This country called America
How great it can be

From East to West
To coast to coast
From snow covered mountains
To the valleys below

From New York City to the smallest town
Freedom's bell rings....can't you hear the sound?
Free men and women walk this ground
For there is no better to be found

This freedom we share, came at a price
As brave men died in the trenches at night
May the flame of peace forever burn
For the price they paid, was dearly earned

So America, how great can you be?
As great as the freedom that sets us free
