Walk Into My Dream

by

Rusty Broadspear

Under black velvet sky

Sewn with celestial silver sequins,

I deal my dreams, for you to choose.

All portals are open

And all that I ask

Is that you lean close to me

And rip off my mask.

Know me my love.

Would you grieve,

Should I leave?

My dreams are to share

They were written for us both,

By someone higher than me,

An oath made in Heaven

For the two of us.

I feel the rise and fall

Of your breathing.

Know me my love.

Tear down the bricks,

Embrace my foundation.

My dreams are laid bare,

Walk into any one of them,

Reach for my soul, see me as I am.

Offer me your words,

I will take them and feed.

We will breathe the love we have sought,

Discovering our illusive need.

Know me my love.

Let your love flow free.

Be not afraid,

Of a miracle for all,

And for you my love and for me.
