Two Souls

So what was the outcome?
Well ........ the Sun shone on Winterland
While the Moon poured, with her cold hand
A bittersweet cup.
But when Justine's kicked down, he gets up.
And to fuel against cruel knocks,
Rocks amusement. Whilst he sees
A fellow mind working to the strain,
So taut, wanting to snap!
In the lap of this mind are hands
Busy, now taking a rest, womanly, sighingly.
Gemses looks down - she loves me,
I gently touch her, afraid I might hurt.
Gemses, I think, knows the both of us.
To the unitiated, Gemses is a spider,
A friend. When threatened I hide her,
A soft breath and she skelters down a fresh web
To family.
So, while the Sun shines on Winterland
And the hand of fate divides,
Two souls and a spider play out lives,
While the power decides..............
