Sweet Secrets in a Sentence

by

Rusty Broadspear

The fence of a sentence
Hides a post, a word of power,
Awesome in intensity.
With tangents that seed and flower.
Petals of deep propensity.

Find the word and read me.
Peel layers from my heart.
Add substance to obscurity.
Draw nearer - that's a start
And search for truthful purity.

Discover a hidden shard,
A loveforce that will not die.
Visit me and kiss me hard,
Let bonded knots untie.
See and touch my high regard.

The fence of a sentence.
Bright neon banner of truth.
Honest and factual reality.
Knows no lies or all uncouth
Or artificiality.
