Sun's Out

by

Rusty Broadspear

Sun's out, I'm out

Stop me - whoosh!!

Stop me if you can.

I'm loose

And I do what I want,

If I can.

Calling all kids,

WHERE ARE YOU!!?

New day born

Got catapult

One firework

Penknife

Stones

And the Comets are rockin'

Round the clock

In the house opposite.

Sun's out, I'm out

Sliding down the bank

To the stream

To tickle me a trout.

HEY! AM I THE ONLY ONE ALIVE!!?

Grass wet

Pants wet

Time for a pee

Up the old oak tree.

Bird on the ground

Peckin' around

Catapult, stone.

Stone, catapult.

Over shoulder glance

Aim . Its gone,

No result.

This is getting really,

(Pick my nose),

Boring.

Sun's out, I'm out

No-one else is.

Stones from my pocket

Chucked one by one

Into the stream,

Don't kill a trout

And decide not to shout

Anymore.

Go home and wait

For someone to invent..............

A PlayStation.
