Nurse
by
Rusty Broadspear
Her
ever-changing aura occasionally brushed parallel
worlds.
Silent cloudburst particles, impossible colours,
bloom and fall.
Eyes with the power to strip, appraise,
acknowledge, smile..................
Tumbling endlessly into love, these embracing eyes
enthral.
The battleworn warrior melted beneath his rock
exterior.
Her auburn hair that stroked his face, laced with
feminine scent.
Tending wounds and mental scars; surely, gently
revitalising.
Aural purple shades grow, diminish, undulate then
fragment.
Battlefields, fading dreams, as fingers white, so
light, bathe his face.
Sheer vulnerability, a lavish treat to lay here,
naked in defeat.
Her face shines pure, fired with the essence of
God's own Angels.
He vows a silent declaration of love, she
smiles............. all is complete.
