Eternal Fire

by

Parker Lykins

Her hair flows gently
like a waterfall
that perfectness
does not lack.

Her cautious, cool smile
helps relieve my soul.
The gentle image
is burnt in my mind.

The feel of her touch
is soft and smooth.
Like the deep feeling
of dove-like silk.

Her priceless thoughts
are eternal with me.
Her genius ideas
are inspiration.

All she does and says
are recorded
in every crease
of my restless brain.

Every long night
is spent thinking of you
Of your etiquette
Of your care-free laugh

Even though, she's not here
I hear her, know her
I feel her, want her
I love her forever.
