New Identity

by

Paige

I look around the shop
Searching for a new identity
So many choices
New eyes, hair, and fingernails
I hope all of this will change me
But as I arrive home with all of my goods
I realize I can never change what I have become
I sit down and start to cry
Just wondering why?
Then i stop crying
Because i realize there is nothing i can do
