Under the Moon

By

Nicole Starleigh Yeager

Under what great skies do you find yourself
As time moves on to the coming night before you?
Is it that of darkness and dreary shadows?
Or of illustrious beauty with moon and stars?
If, for you, the night is a lonely, desolate sky,
Then I shall share with you the secret of many...
Come with me, my friend, and bathe in the light of a happy moon,
Where the sky is vast and dark--
Yet bright as the smile on a child's face--
For the millions of stars glistening in its depths.
Make a wish, and have a dance,
Breathe in the glory you are feeling!
My friend, as you turn away to leave this wonderful place, know this:
Once you have found your peace, you will never be lost.
