The Fat Guy

by

Mira Minkova

Not even one of those five at the bus stop doesn't suspect
that the pavement underneath our feet is pulsating! That
it is burning my feet! The fat guy is nervously dangling his hand.
5.10 - the first bus. Till noon I will forget it all, and still -
5.10 - the fat guy stares to the bus' direction.
5.10 - I meet the fat guy.
5.10 - the fat guy again.
5.10 - the fat guy.
5.10 - "The pavement will one day become cold,
and you and me will be here. And the bus."
the fat guy said.
