The Bleeding Heart

by

Melissa DeMedio

The bleeding heart,
Has it's way,
While it cries,
It dreads the day.

Pulsing warmth,
I crave the touch,
But loneliness has taken such.

Craving you,
Makes me bleed,
With tears of crimson,
Seems the need.

I miss you so,
I tend to bleed,
When missing you,
Is thee lead.
