Star Crossed Love

by

Mathew Robello

written in the stars upon an endless diamond sky
a love so strong that it just won't die
lovers who remain so far out of reach
painful are the lessons that the heart must teach
I love you so much and it hurts me so bad
just to look back in memory of what I once had
drifting isolated along a long lonely road
listening to the stories of love being told
the first ever too touch my heart from so far away
a way that makes me speak the words I now say
i loved you my dearest and I love you still
and maybe we might be together if 'tis God's will
i long to be held by you so safe in your arms
adorned in your soft whisper laced in your charms
a heart beats for you inside deep within me
a heart once again in such longing to just be free
I wish I could be with you till the end of time
timeless melody written in these little rhymes
a story, a tale written high up above
a story of two.........in a star crossed love
