Nightmares

by

Marsha Lanning

My life is a nightmare
Black roses fall upon me
As my tears roll down my face.
Why should I run when I can walk?
Why should I walk when I can lay down?
Why should I stare awake when I can sleep?
So the nightmare can come alive
Black roses fall upon me
So where do I go from here?
There's no one that cares about a lost soul.
They might try to take the pain away but its only causing more.
They only care about their souls.
My soul is lost forever
The tears fall from my eyes
My life is a nightmare
Black roses fall upon me
as I slowly fade away.
