We All Stopped Caring

I'm ashamed to be called human
'cause we all stopped caring
none of us give a damn
why'd we stop sharing
When we see a homeless person
what do we do?
we turn our heads, and walk away
well what if it was you?
or if we see someone
being mugged or raped or killed
in the olden days we'd help them
but do we still?
we see all the children suffer
we see them on TV
why do they have to suffer
when we could give them what they need
what went wrong with us
to make us hate our kind
we don't even care about Mother Earth
did we all lose our mind?
we're teaching our children
the wrong way of life
that it's ok for violence
or to own a gun or knife
if we all cared a little
that would be a different case
if we all cared a lot
this world would be a better place
