The Half-Man
by
Joshua M. Allen
You made me hate God
You take away what makes me live
You have made me half man
Stare into my while you can
Life made short, by the hand
of the one you called half-man
Making fun of my crippled walk
Hypocrite with no right to talk
First kill your own, before invigorating mine
The freak on your back been there the whole time
But you can't know what you don't know
You don't want what you don't have
Bestow on me the curse never uncursed
Bring to me a hate of sin
Torturing your only kin
You made me hate myself
while the book of illness molds to the shelf
You make me want to run
make me want to find a gun
and end this now
though you never taught me how
