Dead But Not Long

by

Jonathan Isenor

When people pass away
We greave the loss
Death is final
Whether we like it or not
There's something people forget when someone dies though

Something else is also final
Memories
The pictures in your photo albums
The times you had together
All of these the deceased have passed on

As long as we remember these memories
The good and the bad
The person may be dead but will not be gone.
