My Lullaby For You

by

Jolanta Gradowicz

Some starry night I値l have a crack
At humming a lullaby for you.
But first I値l try to find a track
To your soul not to make it blue.

Then let me know you are ready.
You値l lay your head on my breast,
And I値l try to remain steady
Though you値l be kissing the warm nest...

And I値l begin singing the silent song.
It will be meant only for your heart.
Everything I値l sing won稚 be wrong.
I値l play it by ear something smart...

You値l come to like my murmuring.
I値l give you its words without any fight.
But let me tonight sing, quietly sing.
Let me care about your dreams this night...
