The smell of rain & cigarettes
reminds me of you.
I watch the sunset, I watch the stars.
Neither compares to your beauty.
As my nights get colder,
I think of you and smile.
Your name is forever branded in my skin.
Like my memories of you
it will never fade away.
Because of you I can stand
because of you I can breathe.
You've been gone
for months
but I can still breathe.
And although my mind is leaving
I am still breathing.
