The Image

I am a girl, the same as you
I wake up each morning now wanting to go to school.
I look out my window only to see
Someone standing there looking up at me.
I close my window getting scarred
Was that person really there?
I went to the mall and guess what I see
The same little girl still looking at me.
I walk right passed her not wanting to stare
But the thought of her just being there,
Made me more scared.
My head started hurting
As I began to weep
My best friend asked me what was wrong
And I looked back to the girl and pointed to her
Do you see that little girl looking right at me?
My friend said no I don't...a little girl I do not see
That is when I began to think
Was it a dream...was she fake?
I awake in my bed
Just a dream is what I said
I looked out my window and guess what I saw?!?
The same little girl...so it wasn't a dream after all.
