When Love Dies

by

Jennifer Hansen

I give all I have, my love, my life, my heart to you.
No matter how hard I try, I never seem get my message through.

I reach so deeply, offering you everything, my very soul.
But it always seems to be my heart that has to pay the toll.

When the days are dark and you have nowhere to turn.
You seem so blind and never realize that
it is for you my love will always burn.

I no longer know just how to make you see,
That together with you is where I always want to be.

Each day I search my sweetest dreams just to find,
That when you think of love, one day I'll come to mind.

I really don't know what else I can do.
To make you say, "I love you too."
