Life's Treadmill

by

Jack Mann

When you're feeling down in the dumps

And you canít stand anymore of lifeís lumps

Step back and take a look at what youíve done

If you are on the right track

You wonít have to look back

Because you will already know how to run

If you want to know whatís in store for tomorrow

Just look behind you with sorrow

Because it will be the same if you donít change

If you donít get your stuff together

Then lifeís tough as old shoe leather

And a hard road ahead will be your range.

But by putting God first

It will quench all your thirst

And life will never again be the same!
