Poetic Justice

J. L. Evans

Poetic Justice, it finds a way,
to teach a man he has to pay,
for things he's done through out his life,
be it peace or be it strife.
We find one soul upon the stand,
his deeds are told and death's at hand.
He kicks his feet as he gasps for breath,
taut, oiled rope snaps his neck.
When they cut him down, the breath escapes,
gone to hell his soul to take.
It comes alive in a fiery pit,
Poetic Justice, remember it...
