Storm Lover

by

Heather Brower

Thunder storms and I miss you
Lightning streams and I burn for you
Rain pounds and I scream to you
They tuck you in tonight
Wish I was there
Us under a warm-cool blanket of clouds
To have you'r smell on my pillow
Like after rain on grass
Keep me safe from harm
Keep me safe in you'r arms
Let the storm's come through
So I can lay her close to you
Every boom my passion for you
Sweet sleep in the field with you
After the music of nature is through
Thunder storms and I miss you
Lightning streams and I burn for you
Rain pounds and I scream to you
