We are in this Together

by

Frank Blacharczyk

You can't run from yourself
no matter where you hide
doesn't matter how long you count
like your shadow it follows

We are in this together
We are in this together
We have to face it together

When you hit the unexpected
When the road is slippery
and sanity is a spinning ball
When your friends are Job’s friends
And the one you love changes her mind
And you end up dancing by yourself

We are in this together
We have to face it together
We are in this together

When the light begins to dim
When hope loses its movie like ending
We are in this together
We are in this together

When complaining is a second language
the burning tongue
hate is so easy

Always remember
Compared to what
We are in this together
We are in this together
We have to face it together

When the enemy has you surrounded
Do you believe in miracles
