Love
Gods
By
Eric
Charles
He was the dreamer
He was the screamer
Fiery eyed, dark and lean
She was a wild one
Smile sweet as a child
One look, she knows
You'll look again
Fire in his pockets
Magic in his hands
But he won't bow beneath his class
Burned out and bored
She's been wasted, my lord
Now! She wants something good
That's going to last
Dreaming alone
Two hearts of stone
Cupid plays with lightning
Draws back the bow
The targets know
That when it strikes
It's frightening
He breeds heartbeats of thunder
With an infinite desire
An impassioned fire
Burnin' deep within
Beasts of the darkness
In a rainbow of love
A gift of gods
For victims of the skin
