Understanding

by

Emily Marsham

I don't understand why you're here;
Why you're with me.

I don't understand what I can give you;
Why you want me, need me.

I don't understand how you fix things;
When everything is broken.

Why things are so good, so perfect
I can lie back and close my eyes
and be happy for always.

I don't understand all of you.
But I try.

I want to give you something in return;
But I don't know what
so I'll just let my heart love again;
Love you.
And hope you'll understand.
