I know it's goodbye---I smile, gripping my breath to be still, 
Not to let you know, not to let you see, not to let you hear 
The scream inside. The spray of the sea mist stings my eyes, 
The pier sways, it frightens me. That's all. Your kiss 
Mingling with the sea mist, 
Tastes like tears...
