Tribute: Fallen Soldier's Wives

She sits in her room all alone
wondering if her he is ever coming home.
He joined the force, something new.
They shipped him out, away he flew.
They wrote each other everyday.
Hoping to connect in some way.
She turned on the news to see them show,
something she never wanted her mind to know.
A picture of smoke up in the air.
She cried so loud because she cared.
A bomb blew up at an army base.
A man came on to read the names, of fallin soldiers who have died,
fought for their country and gave their lives.
Every day she waits by the phone,
wondering if her soldier will ever come home.
