The Choleric Leaders

by

Ehsan Elahi Ehsan

The choleric leaders ruin a great country
And force its valiant public to bow
Under the burden of that debt
Which was never spent on people
Or for the progress of the country
They satisfy their own itching palms
Trying to have a place
Among the richest of the world.
The common man is working
Day and night but only to live from
Hand to mouth. The lubricating speeches
Without any meaning are delivered
To mock at the poor faces
And the country to make the budget
Only to pay off the debts
Which were taken by those choleric leaders
For their own luxurious living.
