A Calling Voice

by

Ehsan Elahi Ehsan

The rulers are busy in their fights

And a silent awe is haunting me all the time

In the apparent soothing calm

I hear the grave mourning

People are at a stake to pass

The hot and the burdensome days

And the restless nights

But in the din of earth afar,

There is a voice constantly calling me

"Come back to me, here is your real place.
