Stiff Neck Man

by

Dorothy Ross

You look like a man

But a hollow shell you are

I ask you a question you pretend not to hear

Answer me please why don't you

You say I don't hear you

It's just the way I am

And you look straight ahead

I ask you for the truth

You tell me a fib

I scream out in rage

I think I will faint

And you just look straigh ahead

Your eyes don’t see

Your ears don’t hear

You don’t laugh

You don’t cry

You just look straight ahead

Tell me that you love me

Tell me that you care

Say something but just don't say nothing

Before I loose my mind

I can’t stay one minute more

With this stiff neck man
