Adversity
by
Donna Sorensen
In reverse, gone to adverse, my what to do now has succumbed to the curse. What
was unbroken, my spiritual token, is suddenly in need of repair. Having
forgotten the turn of the tide, means to evolve and not to reside, puts fear in
gear to travel inside, and I am now slumped, dumped, and frankly quite stumped.
Do I worry, do I fret, do I now bow down to regret? Is there suspicion , of
remission, of the faith so closely held, that there will never be, any hope for
me, to return to that place of ecstasy. No way for this to hang around, without
a permit or having remit, for reverse to adverse usually will be, the down side
of the upcoming reprieve.
