My One and Only Dream

A dream is
but the start of a mission
A mission set forth by a goal
A certain goal is what I have
A certain girl is all I want
To want though is to strive
To strive is to one day conquer
To conquer is to know success is near
When it arrives, the joy will subside
It will die, with no real purpose
She will leave without saying goodbye
But you will look into your mind
Look into it from front to rear
Roam through the files of yet another dream
Take it on your journey without shedding a tear
Then say a dream is what it is
A dream is but the start of a mission
Another mission set forth by a goal
