Speak of Love

by

D. A. Williams

I drift off to dreams
With thoughts of you in my head
Of rainy days and cold nights
Spent lying in your bed

And the greatest joy I've ever known
Is to feel your sweet release
To feel you quiver under me
As I'm rising to my knees

When I'm with you darling
I can feel no pain
So when you decide to speak of love
I hope you speak my name

I wake up to a brand new day
And you are by my side
I say a little prayer for you
And I hope you'll be alright

And to taste your morning kiss
Is perhaps my greatest pain
'Cause I don't know if I'll ever
Taste that kiss again

When I'm with you darling
I can feel no pain
So when you decide to speak of love
I hope you speak my name

Yes, when you decide to speak of love....
I hope you speak my name
