Lost Love
by
Charlie Mann
I once had a rose,
So sweet, so beautiful.
I once had a love,
So passionate, so wonderful.
I once shared memories,
So caring, so enjoyable.
I once had a gem,
So gorgeous, so unbreakable.
I once said I love you,
So intense, so meaningful.
I once loved a girl,
So loving, so desirable.
I Once said goodbye,
Why, I don't know.
What was I thinking,
Wasn't, I guess so.
I let something go,
So sweet, so beautiful.
I once shared love,
So passionate, so wonderful.
I have recalled memories,
So caring, so enjoyable.
I threw away a gem,
So gorgeous, so unbreakable.
I still say I love you,
So intense, so meaningful.
I still love a girl,
So loving, so desirable.
I can't tell you in words,
My feelings, my heart.
But I will always love you,
Together, or apart.
