I’m Nothing!
by
Cesar A. Miranda
As I close
my eyes,
And I think of you,
And I lose my mind,
Knowing I’m not with you.
And I’ve lost my world,
I’ve lost my life,
I’ve lost the one,
The one that changed my life.
My heart cries to you,
And I can’t bring you back,
And all that is left,
Is my broken heart.
My heart cries to you,
And I know I’m nothing,
I’m not the man you wished me to be,
I’m not the one I could have been for you no.
My soul is gone,
I can’t see any light,
Here I’m alone,
And wishing you back.
My life has changed,
It’s gone with you,
And all that is left,
Is my disgrace.
My heart cries to you,
And I can’t bring you back,
And all that is left,
Is my broken heart.
My heart cries to you,
And I know I’m nothing,
I’m not the man you wished me to be,
I’m not the one I could have been for you no.
I can’t remember,
The last time I said something true (to you),
I can’t remember,
The last time I showed love to you (I can’t),
I can’t remember,
The last time I was good to you.
My heart cries to you,
And I can’t bring you back,
And all that is left,
Is my broken heart.
My heart cries to you,
And I know I’m nothing,
I’m not the man you wished me to be,
I’m not the one I could have been for you no.
My heart cries to you,
And I can’t bring you back,
And all that is left,
Is my broken heart.
