A Loving Nightmare

by

Cesar A. Miranda

You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen,
in a second your eyes caught my attention,
You're a Goddess and I'm a human being,
Who will show you how to love, with perfection.

Looking up at the stars at night,
all of them so beautiful and so bright,
to find out their beauty, I look with more attention,
and see the figure of your reflection.

Your hair like the wild wind hits me,
but I'm not scared, you don't hurt me,
You're just searching for my feelings and my heart,
(which you don't seem to find)....
because when I first met you, for you they left me.

If love is free, free I want to be,
if it is torture, I want to be in pain,
for you my dear, free I will be,
or I'll just cry for you, out in the rain.

As the morning comes by, I open my eyes,
yes it is me, your beloved human being,
who sadly realized...
that the love of his life, was just a dream.
