Memories Of Madness

by

Caroline Carr

Sheís one person by day,

And another by night

Saying things she wonít remember,

But I canít forget

Itís hard to hate someone so close,

And forgive someone so mean

Itís hard to listen to others complain,

When you would give anything to have what they have

Itís hard for me to understand the way she thinks,

As she tries to justify all she does

Knowing sheís wrong,

But not being able to brush off all she says

Watching as she hurts not only me, but all those I love,

And hating her for it

She knows not what she does,

But I do

She is the one person I should love,

But I cannot find the strength

Itís more than just being a teen,

Itís being hurt
