What I'd Do to Be With You

by

Callie Nguyen

I'd starve a week to be with you

I'd sneak out my bedroom window to meet you on the street

To hold you and feel the warmth of your skin, I'd do anything..

I'd walk ten thousand miles just to see your smile

I'd wade through a sea of thorn bushes just to see the sparkle in your eyes

To feel your cool touch is a blessing I can never forget

I'd sacrifice my last crust of bread for you

I'd give the world if I could

To feel your fingers run through my hair, is a love unforgotten

When I am without you my heart cries out

to the fear I feel

to the pain of missing you..

So prove your love to me, mend me to your side, and never let go
