What I Do

by

Angela M. Daniels

Reminisce is what I do when I think about you
Laugh is what I do when I think about all the fun times we had
Cry is what I do is when I realize I can't talk to or see you anymore
Hope is what I have that I can see you again someday
Pray is what I do when I think I can no longer go without you
Hope is what I have that someday I will be like you
Proud is what I hope you will be of me someday
Look on my wall is what I do when I want to see your face again
Listen is what I didn't do when you said that someday I will be without you
Hope is what I had that it will never be true
The truth is what you always told me
Lie to myself is what I did when I said that I will never miss you
