Atheist by
"Have you
found Jesus to be your personal savior?" To be
honest, is it any of your business? I've found
that answering honestly causes eyebrows to be raised, for the asker to back away from me, and
perhaps cause my
new nickname to be "atheist." But that doesn't
bother me. I may not have God on my side, but that
doesn't stop me for taking it all in stride. My
question is this: why am I suddenly treated
differently once my
religious affiliation is known? Why am I bombarded
with questions of, "Do you worship the Devil?"
"Aren't you afraid of going to hell?" "Why don't
you believe that He exists?" There
are other reasons, of course, but I don't like to
argue
about it. We each have our own choice as to what we
believe in and there's no point in fighting over
who is
wrong and who is right.
