When I was a young girl
I dreamed I would be
A writer who'd travel the world
Now I am full grown
And the world has now shown
That it needs all the dreams of the girl
Of castles and princes
Of romance and kings
Of riches that start in the heart
Of smiles and laughter
And conquering sorrow
To seek out and follow our chart
We all have a purpose
We all have a choice
I've chosen to work on God's side
And if I were you
I'd make that choice too
And with it forever abide
