At the End of the Century

by

Alice C. Bateman

As we stand at the end of the century

What do we think we have learned?

How to save our planet

From maybe being burned?

How to save our children

From following our path?

How to save ourselves

From the fury of God's Wrath?

Have we learned from our mistakes?

Are we going to change our course?

If we don't, then God has warned us

Of the world-wide Flood, or worse

Are you listening, all you people?

Who could save the world this grief?

Are you listening to the warnings

To turn over a new leaf?

'Cause if you don't

Then there will be

A flood world-wide

Two thousand three

You have been warned

Now warned again

This is no joke

I am God's Pen
